BEHIND THE ROMEO’S GIN PROJECT, THERE’S A SERIES OF 24 MONTREAL ARTISTS. WE ASKED THEM A FEW QUESTIONS IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THEIR VISION AND THEIR EXPERIENCE OF ROMEO’S MUSEUM, CANADA’S FIRST URBAN ART MUSEUM!
Q: How does it feel to be here with 23 other artists?
A: I was really excited about the project. I’m amazed by the concept and I feel lucky to be part of that nice event, of that first urban museum. I’m really happy.
Q: How does it feel to create and work in a staircase?
A: At first, I was scare… When I arrived here, I was terrified of painting in a fire escape, plus it was my first mural ever. It challenged me a lot and I believe that every artist need that. So, getting out of my comfort zone was amazing.
Q: What is a museum for you?
A: A museum regroup different artists and styles. It’s really cool, as here, for me a museum is just that.
And if feelings were visible?
