BEHIND THE ROMEO’S GIN PROJECT, THERE’S A SERIES OF 24 MONTREAL ARTISTS. WE ASKED THEM A FEW QUESTIONS IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THEIR VISION AND THEIR EXPERIENCE OF ROMEO’S MUSEUM, CANADA’S FIRST URBAN ART MUSEUM!
Q: How does it feel to be here with 23 other artists?
A: It’s cool! It allows us to discover many others artists and to make a common project. We all have different universe, so it allows us to do many different styles in the same museum.
Q: How does it feel to create and work in a staircase?
A: I like the area, it’s cool to work on that. I just need a great area and a cool space. I also like the fact that people go by and can watch our work.
Q: What is a museum for you?
A: It’s a place where the art is in front of everything. What is cool here, it’s that we put forward the street art.
