Inspiration for the cocktail : The inspiration of this cocktail is quite simple; i took directly inspiration from the mural to create my cocktail. To reflect the mural’s vintage look, I thought we would go with an Old Fashioned, sweetened with maple syrup, like on the artwork. Featuring a local product, the cocktail is not garnished because I wanted to leave room for the beauty of the mural.
