Le Sags is a romeo's gin cocktail created in collaboration with les Saguenéens de Chicoutimi hockey team, with fresh Saguenay blueberries.

THIS COCKTAIL IS:

Le Sags cocktail is inspired by a collaboration with les Saguenéens de Chicoutimi, one of the major junior hockey leagues in Quebec. It is a fresh, smooth and fruity cocktail featuring Saguenay blueberries and local lemon balm.

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz of romeo’s gin
  • 2 oz of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ½ oz of coconut milk
  • ½ oz of simple syrup
  • ⅛ of pink grapefruit
  • 3 leaves of lemon balm
  • Garnish : lemon balm leaves, blueberries, pink grapefruit zest

Accessories

  • Old Fashioned glass
  • Shaker
  • Muddler
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Mesh strainer
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

  • In a shaker, combine all the ingredients, apart from the garnish 
  • Muddle well
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake well
  • Double strain using a cocktail strainer and a mesh strainer, in an Old Fashioned glass filled with new ice cubes
  • Garnish with lemon balm leaves, grapefruit zest and / or blueberries
