Gin Sour

Gin Sour is romeo's gin cocktail created by Bailey Allison from Dandurand Ontario sale team.

THIS COCKTAIL IS:

Revisiting the original gin sour with a neat bitter kick and a dreamy foam may substitute egg white with vegan foamer.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½  oz of romeo’s gin
  • ½ oz osf Aperol
  • ¾ oz of fresh lime juice
  • ¼  oz of simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 orange zest
  • Garnish : Angostura bitters drops

Accessories

  • Small Tumbler glass
  • Shaker 
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Cocktail sieve
  • Ice

Preparation

  • Add all the ingredients in a shaker, including the orange zest, except for the Angostura bitters.
  • Add ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. 
  • Strain the contents of the shaker into a container and discard the ice. 
  • Shake the cocktail again very firmly without ice to froth the drink at its maximum. 
  • Double strain into a small tumbler glass and garnish with individual drops of Angostura bitters.
