BEHIND THE ROMEO’S GIN PROJECT, THERE’S A SERIES OF 24 MONTREAL ARTISTS. WE ASKED THEM A FEW QUESTIONS IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THEIR VISION AND THEIR EXPERIENCE OF ROMEO’S MUSEUM, CANADA’S FIRST URBAN ART MUSEUM!

Q: How does it feel to be here with 23 other artists?

A: It’s really cool. In fact we are a bit like ninjas, everybody has his floor and we can only hear the echo of others. It’s so cool!

Q: How does it feel to create and work in a staircase?

A: It’s really hot, but other than that it’s great. A staircase is a gray and sad place, so it’s fun to put a bit of art on those walls.

Q: What is a museum for you?

A: I would say that the street try to go, the street will be there one day. For now it’s the elite, sometimes boring, sometimes really nice.
